Pharmacy

Pharmacy ensures compliance with UK law and the ethics and guidelines set down by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.  

The RPSGB registered superintendent pharmacist is a director of Careology and the rest of the pharmacy team includes experienced dispensing technicians and appropriately trained pharmacy assistants.

The dispensing process within Careology is documented within the quality management system and all processes comply with current legislation and best practice guidance.
 

The pharmacy team are responsible for:
 

• Dispensing of all products
• Specialist compounding of pharmaceuticals
• Quality control and batch tracking of medical products and ancillaries
• Provision of product advice to medical professionals and patients
• Validated storage and transportation of medical products and ancillaries in line with manufacturers requirements
• Sourcing ancillaries for individual patient needs
• Provision of fridges and pumps for patient use in the home including backup and maintenance
