Home delivery service

Deliveries to patients are undertaken by Careology’s partner company Polar Speed. Pharmaceutical products are stored and transported in accordance with manufacturers guidance which may include cold chain or items requiring a controlled temperate environment. All drivers undergo a formal induction and are given disease awareness training. Drivers are Criminal Research Bureau checked and all carry identification cards.

Deliveries can be undertaken to most UK postcodes with 24 working hours. A delivery service to support patients in Ireland is also available.

The service will include:

• Delivery to patients within an agreed time window
• Unpacking and storing the medical product if requested
• Rotating stock and checking expiry dates and storage conditions if requested
• Removal of packaging and sharps bins in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
• Deliveries to an alternative delivery address such as a workplace or a relative
