Clinical and sharps disposal

Careology and Polar Speed are both able to remove clinical waste from patients homes and are registered with the Environment Agency under the terms of the Control of Pollution Act (Amendment) 1989.  

Drivers will remove sharps bins for incineration during a scheduled delivery. The bins will be disposed of according to the waste carriers licence and standard operating procedures.

All drivers are trained in the removal and handling of clinical and sharps waste.
